Delivering safety, efficiency and environmental best practice across our fleet

We are delighted to have retained our FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) Silver accreditation, giving you the peace of mind that we value logistics safety, reducing fuel emissions and improving operations as much as you do.

We demonstrate best practice by using FORS to audit a variety of areas across our logistics fleet, helping us to continually monitor, review and improve our delivery service. This ensures we find the safest and most economical operational solutions to benefit our clients, the public and our staff.

Going the extra mile…

We understand the importance of monitoring and improving performance levels in safety, efficiency and environmental best practice. Here are just some of the new strategies we have implemented:

Increasing the number of accredited FORS Practitioners

We have trebled the number of accredited FORS practitioners, compared with last year, further minimising road risk by monitoring and evaluating our policies, procedures and reports, as well as ensuring high standards of driver training are met.

Minimising our environmental impact

We are constantly looking at ways to minimise our environmental impact, to continue to help our clients reduce their carbon footprint over the duration of their construction projects.

We use day-to-day routing to optimise fuel consumption, are running an anti-idling campaign and all our vehicles are fitted with a ‘black box’ to monitor and track driver performance.

We always strive for excellence in everything we do, by using new and innovative ways to develop and improve our performance. This is why, after renewing our CLOCs (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) and WRRR (Work Related Road Risk) accreditations later this year, we will be going for FORS Gold. Watch this space!
